I first met Marianna in 2018 while working as a chef consultant at Shift Eatery. It was love at first sight and we struck up a friendship when we realised we were both pursuing the same goals and dreams in plant based food. I advised Marianna on knives and equipment before starting her Raw Food Chef Training. My best experience with her was when we created the menu for her pop-up restaurant Black Mango together – she surprised me with her creativity, handling of ingredients and balance of flavours. I remember the first time I tasted her raw mushroom and truffle pate, which was one of the best things I’ve tasted in my life. I didn’t hesitate to ask for the recipe, and I now include it on the menu at my restaurant. I consider Marianna a born chef, with a passionate soul and infinite creativity.

She catered a colourful grazing table for our wedding, and set up a beautiful spread of fantastic fresh and healthy nibbles which our guests loved.
